Valentine Wallet Love

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE these wallet templates? Each year I search all over the Internet for Wallet templates to give as Valentines and they are few and far between. Lauryn designed these for us and I just love them! Not to mention how cost effective they are for an entire class of 22 kids. I also get them for my son’s preschool class and even order a few of the boys together for Valentines we want to send off to in the mail. Mpix and Mpixpro do a lovely job printing with rounded corners and they punch out quite easily! I opted for a pearl finish because simply I cannot get enough pearl in my life with two boys. Wait until you see the cuteness that I am attaching these to that I will share soon!

Oh, and one more great thing! My husband keeps them in his wallet all year long!

Visit our Etsy shop and pick up a template today. Pop your photo in in Photoshop and it is that easy!

DIY Gold Scallop Tree Garland and a Printable Letter from Julep

How cute and easy this gold scalloped tree garland was to make! 1) I purchased this champagne colored glitter paper from Hobby Lobby. 2) Used a round cutter to cut out lots of perfect circles as you see lying flat in the pictures. 3) Folded them in half to create the scallop and 4) hot glued them to a very soft vintage looking creme ribbon. They look darling on my son’s little tree in his room.

The letter is from Julep and is completely downloadable for free! The envelope is the same exact size as the letter so it makes for an easy fold when you want to drop it in the mailbox. I have been following this blog called, A Field Journal, for years now and she designed the card and letter so please check her site out too. Just lovely!

Stack the States–A Great App for Summer Travel

stackthestates

As a parent of an elementary aged child I highly recommend this app! My son started playing this at his school and I decided to buy the $.99 version which was well worth it! This App teaches so much about each state in such a fun and interesting way!

Apple has this to say about Stack the States Full Version:

Stack the States‚ĄĘ makes learning about the 50 states fun!¬† Watch the states actually come to life in this colorful and dynamic game!

As you learn state capitals, shapes, geographic locations, flags and more, you can actually touch, move and drop the animated states anywhere on the screen. Carefully build a stack of states that reaches the checkered line to win each level.

You earn a random state for every successfully completed level.  All of your states appear on your own personalized map of the United States.  Try to collect all 50!  As you earn more states, you begin to unlock the four free bonus games: Map It, Pile Up, Puzzler and Capital Drop.  Four games in one!
